Live this adventure paddling with us through an enchanted mangrove forest that leads to Laguna Grande were you will witness the unique natural phenomenon called Bioluminescence, a light produced by a living organism, specifically a microscopic plankton named Pyrodinium bahamense which is the responsible of the Glowing Bay Adventure.
Please remember that bioluminescence is a natural phenomenon and the intensity (brightness) is unpredictable and may vary from one day to another.

The Glowing Bay Adventure includes:

Basic Equipment
Kayak and US Coast Guard approved life jacket.

Expert Guide
Experienced eco-interpretive guide with CPR and First Aid certification.

Basic Training Guide
Training and safety instructions prior to tour.

Illumination
Low-intensity night time navigation lights.

Safety
First aid and kayak towing equipment.

Adventure available from Monday to Saturday.
Check in time is 30 minutes before the departure time.
Minimum of 6 guests to operate the Glowing Bay Adventure.

What you need to bring
Clothes that can get wet or swimwear.
Water shoes, flip flops or sandals.
Towels and dry clothes (optional)
Cash for restaurants, souvenirs or tip.

Do not bring
Cameras or any electronics that are not water proof.
Valuables items like jewelry.
We are not responsible for lost items.
